I am the Great Resonance and the Great Resonance is me.
FYI: The Toll is the 3rd book in the Arc of the Scythe series and this post will have MASSIVE spoilers for books 1 and 2. And honestly, if you haven’t read Scythe and Thunderhead then you need to just stop what you are doing right now and go read them.
Author: Neal Shusterman
Publisher: Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers
Release Date: November 5, 2019
Synopsis: Citra and Rowan have disappeared. Endura is gone. It seems like nothing stands between Scythe Goddard and absolute dominion over the world scythedom. With the silence of the Thunderhead and the reverberations of the Great Resonance still shaking the earth to its core, the question remains: Is there anyone left who can stop him?
The answer lies in the Tone, the Toll, and the Thunder.
Y’all. Y’ALL! I desperately need this book. DESPERATELY! Those who have read Scythe and Thunderhead know why I’m freaking out over this book. To say that the ending of Thunderhead blew my mind would be a vast understatement.
I need to know what in the actual heck is going on with Grayson and the Thunderhead? What is in the Marshall Islands? What is that bastard, Goddard, going to do next? Is Faraday okay? WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO CITRA AND ROWAN? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Okay, it’s okay, I’ve calmed down now. Mostly. I just…I just want to read this book right now and November 5th is too damn far away.
That being said, you can find pre-order links for The Toll on the publisher’s website.
