What’s this? The host of Friday Favorites is making a Friday Favorites post?!? WILD!
I am a sucker for a good book cover. If I didn’t hear about the book from one of my bookish friends, the cover is typically what draws me in and makes me look more into the story. I’m sticking to only Young Adult books for this post, because if I expanded it to Adult as well, this would be a very, very, very long post.

The Beckoning Shadow by Katharyn Blair has my favorite cover of the year. The colors, the bad ass girl with the wrapped fist and flowers in her hair…everything is just perfect. The moment I saw this cover I was immediately drawn to it and then read that phenomenal synopsis. Not only is the cover stunning, but the book is one of my favorite reads of the year. You can read my review here.
YAAAS I love these covers! Some of them made my list this week too but damn, it was so hard to choose! Haha I wanted to list all of the gorgeous covers 😂 The Wandering Light and Eight Will Fall are sooo pretty 😍

Some very nice cover designs in there! It’s interesting how many of the designs are so very emblematic of their genre or themes. 🙂

I agree with quite lot of thoses!
I probably love the purple/pink/blue scheme going on the most — like in The Devouring Gray & Once & Future! Next favorite will probably be the “person within person” thing like The Hummingbird Dagger or Eight will Fall.

I love the person within person thing! I think the Jackaby series covers are my favorite example of that
